Lula Body offers a range of services tailored to individual needs! Our focus is always on you! Our Brooklyn studio is equipped with a Gratz Pilates reformer, high/low chair, and springboard. We also offer both traditional and non traditional floor work incorporating foam rollers, free weights, Thera-bands, magic circles and Swiss balls. Services are also available on the Upper East Side or in the privacy of your own home or office.
Pilates is a full body workout with an emphasis on the core. It helps to create a balanced physique, thereby helping to prevent injury from the overuse of dominant muscles at the expense of weaker ones. It can be performed by students of all ages and can accommodate a variety of physical limitations such as a bad back,neck or shoulder issues, sciatica or scoliosis as examples.
Pilates is great for safely increasing core strength, flexibility, coordination, balance, and overall body conditioning, plus it also makes you feel great! Pilates has also been reported to improve your sex life (but I can't promise that!) Pilates is also immensely engaging and is a true MIND/BODY experience!
